If you want to gain fitness under the guidance of someone who thoroughly knows the subject, then you won’t find better than Wayne Sibthorpe. Having the dual backgrounds of training personnel in the British Armed Forces, plus being a senior Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, where he has been a successful Instructor and competitor makes him superbly capable of motivating you and safely monitoring your progress.
I can assure you that Wayne is someone who “leads from the front”, and always sets a good example.

I had Wayne train me for a few years once a week. His personal training helped me physically and mentally it’s so easy to say. I will do it next week once I pushed myself to go I could not wait for the next session. A great way to get fit and gain confidence.

I first met Wayne in 2014 whilst serving in the British Army, he was the lead instructor on a PTI course.
Although my fitness levels were of a good for a 43-year-old I did have some anxieties about attending a course with personnel 20 years younger than myself, thankfully Wayne’s expertise and professionalism helped me achieve my goal and passed the course. Subsequently I then went on to attend further, more advanced PTI courses which although very arduous were tackled with great enthusiasm and vigour. This is mainly due to Wayne’s ability to empower individuals to find their inner strength, and desire to achieve personal goals.
As a teacher and mentor Wayne is second to none, with a fountain of knowledge and experience military and civilian that he utilises in a manner that encourage learning. Coupled with his “lead by example” ethos will help new and seasoned physical training instructors develop their training methods to a greater standard, in turn earning the respect and trust from their clients.
“Mens Sana in Corpore Sano”….A Healthy Body and a Healthy Mind is deeply engrained in Wayne Sibthorpe and his approach to life, with selfless commitment Wayne instils this belief in others and will help you achieve your goals creating strong foundations.
Thank you Wayne for your teaching and guidance over the years.

Wayne Sibthorpe was my line manager, mentor, trainer and when I look back , absolute role model for approximately 3 years (1998-2001) whilst I was serving in the British Army. I was a Corporal and subsequently a soldier serving within the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment and Wayne was a Warrant Officer class 2 in the Royal Army Physical Training corps (RAPTC). When he arrived at the unit I was not prepared for a line manager that took all responsibilities (clearly his passion) so professionally. he was and is simply exceptional. The time, dedication and depth of knowledge he afforded me simply changed my life for the better…. his mantra and ethos I still use to this very day.
Lastly we prepared for the DANCON March and all whilst being on a Operational Tour. It had at least 300 competitors (soldiers from around NATO forces) and yes because of his preparation and planning we came joint 1st, wow what a feeling.
As I alluded to on the first paragraph I have used his skills and teachings up until the present day. I attribute many positive things to Wayne one of which was receiving the MBE from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. I know “without any doubt” this man has been a blessing in my life. Once again thank you Wayne.
